STEPHANIE BASHAM
MS, Licensed Professional Counselor
Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Development. Her master’s degree is in Counseling. She has been professionally licensed since 1996. Stephanie has a gentle but direct approach to counseling. She enjoys using humor as she believes it is important to have as we look at ourselves and our interaction with others. Stephanie knows and understands that counseling can be a little scary or intimidating but believes that once the step is taken, it can lead you along a path of healing and empowerment. Stephanie specializes in women’s issues, relationship counseling, adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression. Stephanie has found that all of these issues can be present in a person’s life at different points and times. She specifically found that parenting and relationships were harder than she ever thought but can be rewarding when you have a safe place to be heard, to know you are not alone, and when you can learn to create an environment that is healthy for you. Stephanie loves to meet people where they are and help them get to where they want to go. “Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it” ~ Brene Brown
