Generally your appointment will be within a week or two of your initial call. Emergencies will be given priority and generally are seen within 48 hours.

8. May I choose my own therapist?
You may request a particular therapist. Your preference will be honored if your presenting issue is within their treatment area and they are accepting new clients.

9. How much does therapy cost?
CCS’s fees for professional services are consistent with other mental health practices in the Southwest Missouri area. Specific fee information will be provided when you call for an appointment.

10. Will my visits be covered by insurance or other benefits?
Many of our clients use health insurance or church benefit packages. Since policies and benefits vary greatly, we can file your insurance after your first visit. Clients are responsible for payment; if insurance covers counseling the reimbursement payment will come directly to the client. The church benefit packages offered exclusively from CCS may entitle you to counseling services at a 50% discount. Ask your pastor or church staff if your church is a part of the SOURCE network.

11. What if I have financial concerns?
CCS works to make it possible for those seeking services to receive treatment. For those unable to meet the full cost of counseling we network with a number of churches through our SOURCE program. This plan offers counseling that may be discounted 50% or even more. If your church is not a member you may want to contact your pastor to see about setting up SOURCE your church. Please speak with our office manager for more details.

12. How long does therapy take?
The length of treatment depends on many factors. More detail concerning this would be discussed after an intake and regular counseling session.
